This is the first time for me doing a cosplay props all alone without Orochi, usually I always doing it together with her
To be honest, I’m not as skilled as Orochi on molding stuff, so I used … well…
Some normal stuff at home for this, like … soap box… my perfume bottle -___- … my powder case … salt shaker… etc …. Wrapped it with metallic paper or paint it~
I’m working on it almost for 1 month and I’m getting frustrated with many mistakes I’ve did on it … Orochi I’m so sorry >____________< …
In the end … Shinji come and helped me out lol … First she’s kind a shock ( or must I said … err… happy?? ) because she thought I’m the one who intend to cosplaying as Noctis ( gezz… do you miss my male form that much? ).
Nah, actually it’s not me who will go as Noctis, I had requested Orochi for it…
You know, Noctis is the 3rd game character I had falling in love with rofl, my ‘first love’ was Cloud Strife, then Dante from Devil May Cry and now… Noctis Lucis Caelum
And… I’m kind a tired for waiting too long for this game to be released, anyone know when the exact date of it??
So… yea… I got this crazy idea for requesting Orochi cosplaying as him, it will be so much better for hugging Orochi in Noctis suit than hugging my PC monitor
Fortunately Orochi likes Noctis also, she ever intend to cosplay as him, but still waiting for the game to be released first … I told her, it’s already too long, no need to wait for the game, please make it now, you can learn about his personality from trailers…
And she agreed with it ….. yay~ yay~ jumping with joy~
I also told her that I’ll help with costume and props…
First she insists to make it up by herself but I convinced her to let me make it for her, it will be good for me to practice …. And she agreed with it as well…
*err… so because I still in practice I hope she won’t angry with many mistakes I did
A few days ago was my Birthday, and as always, got bunch of birthday greeting from friends and acquaintances also celebrate it in a small party with friends …
But anyway, something totally missing and I kind a sad with that~
Usually I got Orochi and Shinji included in my party every year, in 2008 when Shinji was studied in Australia, I still got Orochi beside me … in 2009 Shinji come back home and I can celebrated it with both of them again…
2010 … the saddest year or what …
Both of them now in Australia, Shinji went there just before my birthday, carried some costumes and Noctis’ sword for Orochi … And that made her end up in Melbourne airport’s quarantine for almost 2 hours -____-; … but lucky they let her go her along with the sword later.
She’ll be back to Indonesia soon after spending her holiday there, and while waiting for her, I crafted some accessories for her newest Dark Elf costume, will be finished soon
Anyway, me myself just got my visa and airplane ticket to Melbourne as well, can’t wait to meet up with Noctis… err I mean Orochi again next month and I also want to meet up with some Australian cosplayers I know through DA~ Yay~
Lastly, we bought a DSLR, after a long consideration about either buy a DSLR or an embroidery machine first, and the final result… we had chosen DSLR
Well, it because we think that we need a DSLR more than an embroidery machine for now, with DSLR we can photograph our costume works, our BJD, our action figure, landscape, many beautiful things~
As for embroidery machine, we think we’ll buy it next year, we can just pending all costumes with a lot of embroidery till next year and stick with any costumes without it lol
